MHPD granted $561K to fight youth tobacco use

The California Department of Justice earlier this year awarded the grant to the MHPD through the Proposition 56 Tobacco Law Enforcement grant program. The total funding received by MHPD is $561,649, to be spent over the next three fiscal years.

Motorcyclist dies in Morgan Hill accident

The motorcyclist was “driving at a rate of speed in which he was unable to safely stop for traffic ahead,” reads the press release. The front of the Yamaha collided with the rear of the Silverado, causing the driver of the motorcycle to be ejected into the northbound lanes of U.S. 101.
