D.A. and police chief talk about 'unusual' murder charges
Jun 10, 2009
District Attorney Dolores Carr and Gilroy Police Chief Denise Turner held a press conference Tuesday afternoon to discuss the murder warrants issued for five people in connection with a Nov. 11 shooting death. What makes the arrests so unusual is that prosecutors know some of the people involved did not kill the victim, but they were involved in a provocative act that spurred the killing and therefore are also responsible, Carr said.
In this video, Carr talks about the 'unusual' charges.
In this video, Turner talks about the message the arrests send to gang members.
