Ten locals will begin practice Friday for he 38th annual Charlie Wedemeyer Silicon Valley Youth Classic All-Star football game, which is just two weeks away.

The annual prep exhibition game that features some of the Central Coast Section’s top graduated seniors has a new site this year. The game, slated for July 18 will now be held at Westmont High School in San Jose instead of San Jose State’s Spartan Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

The locals representing the South squad: Christopher High’s Dillon Babb (defensive end) Bryant Cid (safety) and Marcus Harrell (wide receiver); Gilroy High’s Niko Fortino (quarterback), Alfredo Mireles (offensive line) and Jourdan Soares (wide receiver); Sobrato High’s Nick Perry (lineman) and Skyler King (lineman); Live Oak’s Derek Satterlee (lineman) and Nikki Weber (tight end/linebacker.)
