SAN JOSE -- The Live Oak boy's and girl's water polo teams suffered season-ending losses Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the CIF-Central Coast Section Division II playoffs.
Details were scarce, but the No. 5-seeded boy's team (17-10) fell 10-5 to No. 4 Burlingame at Sacred Heart Prep.
The No. 8-seeded Lady Acorns (13-6), meanwhile, fell 15-2 at No. 1 Sacred Heart Prep, scoring both goals in the second quarter.
