Alex Hagiperos threw out three base runners and Nate Batad pitched a scoreless seventh and eighth innings and added two runs - both for the Angels.
The Giants got four solid innings from Mitch Pasek, who surrendered three earned runs. Teammate Noah Cook had a base hit, scored and came up with three defensive assists.

The Angels rolled with the help of Ben Hughes' double, single and four runs. Teammates Asa Jacobs and Andrew Wilcox had two RBIs apiece as did Garrett Taylor, who added two runs. Sean Aitken went 3-for-4 batting with a run, and Anthony Ivery had an RBI, and two runs, also for the Angels. Hughes got the win, striking out six batters in five innings.
Reds 10, Athletics 4
Back by a strong defense, the Reds' Nick Giordano pitched five solid innings, striking out 11 and allowing two runs. Garrison Grisedale worked the final two innings and scored, joining teammate Billy Bennentt who crossed home twice.
The Athletics got runs from Adam Belluomini (2), Jesse Lares and Matt Jarvis.
Marlins 13, White Sox 4
In a losing effort, the White Sox were led by pitcher Zach Clinger, who was 2 for 3 at the plate with an RBI.
Giants 17, Tigers 16
In one of the league's most exciting games of the year, the Giants outlasted the Tigers with key hits and some lucky bounces. Ethan Cox led the effort with two hits and three runs, and Domenic Zanotto scored four times. Teammate Cristian Ukanawa drove in a pair of runs, while Ben Hagiperos and Wes Guild scored three runs apiece, also for the Giants.
Tigers 17, White Sox 5
The Tigers pulled away in the first inning with Luke Northcutt's RBI-single, scoring Steven Marquez. Joshua Priest added an run-scoring double.
Danny Medaglia and Jason Anderson both scored for the White Sox.
Giants 3, Reds 2
Pitcher Josh Alaniz lifted the Giants with his eight strikeouts in five innings. Both of the Reds' runs came unearned.
Nick Giordano yielded one run in five innings and Hunter Kirk worked a solid final three.
The Giants' Danny Ginther tripled and scored on a throwing error, and Ben Hagiperos provided the game-winning run on a hit by Damien Phelan.
Angels 15, D'Backs 9
The Angels rallied past the Diamondbacks, getting four RBIs from Sean Aitken, two doubles and an RBI from Andrew Wilcox, three RBIs from Ben Hughes and two more from Asa Jacob. Teammate Jeremy Urdiales was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Jacob got the win.
For the Diamondbacks, Nick Blocker went 3 for 3 and scored. Cole Campi was 4 for 5 with two runs, Jack Benazzo scored twice and drove in two runs, and Blake Porzio scored twice and had two RBIs.
Athletics 6, Yankees 4
Offensively, the Athletics were paced by Alex Aguaristi's RBI-double and Adam Belluomini, who drove in another run. Belluomini allowed two runs in five innings pitched, striking out six.
The Yankees scored on walks to Troy Moorehead and Mark Quinby.

This well-fought battle wasn't decided until the sixth inning when the Dodgers tried to squeeze home Paul Lomanto. He was called out at home, though, helping to clinch victory for the White Sox.
