The Rams held the advantage for most of the game, matching MPC's points with their own until late when the Lobos went on a 13-1 run. Gavilan held a 36-27 lead at halftime after Williams hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer and led by as much as 12 when Williams hit another clutch 3-pointer with 10:30 left.
MPC took the lead with 2:20 left, and the lead changed hands seven times in the final minutes of regulation.
The highlight of the game for the Rams was an alley-oop dunk by Jessie LoBue on a pass from Vince Bautista in the first half.
