Mushroom Mardi Gras 10k Run/5k Run-Walk

The annual Mushroom Mardi Gras l0k race/5k fun run-walk will be Saturday May 27 at 8am, with the start near the Ranger Station at Anderson Lake County Park. (corner of Malaguerra and Morning Star. ) All proceeds go towards Live Oak Athletics.

Field Hockey Coach Opening

Volleyball Fundraiser

The Live Oak volleyball team, in conjunction with the Adrenaline Volleyball Club, will hold an evening fundraiser on May 19th from 6:30-10:30pm at the Morgan Hill Community Center. The Polynesian-themed luau will include food, entertainment, a silent auction and raffle. Britton Cheer Tryouts

Mark your calendars! Calling all incoming Britton 7th and 8th graders for upcoming cheer audition. Britton Middle School will be holding cheer tryouts on May 31 and June 1 from 3:30p-5:30pm and June 2 from 4;30pm - 6:30pm at the Britton Gym. Tryout packets are available at each elementary school's front office.

Girl's Basketball Clinic

Division I Women's College player will be conducting a 5 session basketball skills clinic for girls in grades 5 through 8. Each session will cover 2 hours of instruction. The cost for the 5 sessions is $125. The first session begins Wednesday, May 31, 2006, in Morgan Hill. Space is limited, and players will be selected on a first come first serve basis. Live Oak Summer Sports Camps

Live Oak High School will be hosting summer sports camps. Camps run from the middle of June until early August. Each participant must complete and application and submit a non-refundable deposit of $25 for each camp. The cost of each camp varies from $95 to $150. Live Oak Rugby Summer Camp

MHPB Board Elections

The annual election for the Morgan Hill Pony Baseball Board of Directors is at hand once again. Nominations will open for all board positions starting at the May 15th board meeting. Nominations will close at the June 5th board meeting. Voting will be held Championship Saturday, June 17th, at Britton Middle School. Board positions are open to any adult that may interested, but to run for a position on the Executive Board the candidate must have previously served at least one year on the board. Those interested in running for a position may submit their name to a sitting board member, or email the MHPB League Secretary at secretary@mhpb.org between May 15 and June 4th to have their name put on the Ballot.
