Horse theft

An unknown suspect(s), between April 23 and 24 on the 13000 block of Colony Avenue in San Martin, opened the gate to a horse corral and stole one horse.

Vandalism

An unknown suspect, May 2 on the 7600 block of Crews Road in Gilroy, used a sharp object to inscribe lines into the paint of a vehicle, causing $400 worth of damage.

An unknown suspect, between April 22 and 23 on the 1500 block of Rucker Avenue in Gilroy, inscribed lines, circles and the word “Puto” into the paint of a vehicle. The suspect also cracked the windshield and caused $4,500 in damage to the car.

Identity theft

An unknown suspect, between January 2011 and May 9 on the 12000 block of Harding Avenue in San Martin, used a social security number and driver’s license number to open two American Express accounts. The victim learned of the identity theft when a collection agency called to collect outstanding balances.

An unknown suspect(s), between April 15 and 19 on the 15000 block of Oak Glen Avenue in Morgan Hill, for identity theft and grand theft by credit card. The suspect(s) accessed personal identification and used it to take out three credit cards, purchasing approximately $2,000 worth of goods.

An unknown suspect(s), between Feb. 13 and March 25 on the 16000 block of Loma Alta Court in Morgan Hill, used a credit card without permission to make purchases at Target and PG&E.

Grand theft

An unknown suspect(s), between May 1 and 2 on the 3400 block of Susie Lane in Gilroy, stole two fan bases worth $1,000 from the outside of a residence.

An unknown suspect(s), between April 22 and v25 on the 1200 block of Bolsa Road at Bloomfield Avenue in Gilroy, drove onto the property and stole 15 tractor weights.

Drugs

David Charles Grossman, 52, May 6 on the 14000 block of Foothill Avenue in San Martin, for possession of methamphetamine.

Jacob Andrew Scott, 30, May 7 on the 7200 block of Monterey Highway at the Gilroy Transit Center, for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect, on two grants of probation, admitted to being under the influence and was in possession of a glass methamphetamine pipe.

Sandra Mungary Ganzler, 47, April 15 at the intersection of Monterey Road and Travel Park Circle, for possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect admitted to smoking methamphetamine earlier in the day and was in possession of a methamphetamine pipe.

Jose Amicar Rodriguez, 39, April 20 at the intersection of Monterey Highway and Monterey Frontage Road in Gilroy, for violation of probation and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Juan Jose Arellano, 47, April 22 at the intersection of Ferguson Road and Dunlap Avenue in Gilroy, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was pulled over for speeding and crossing a double yellow line before officers discovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and him being under the influence.

Ignacia Robles, 49, April 22 at the intersection of Travel Park Circle and Monterey Road in Gilroy, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect admitted to smoking methamphetamine and being in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. Officers also discovered a hypodermic needle containing heroin in her purse.

Armando Arthur Llanes, 52, April 22 at the intersection of Monterey Road and Travel Park Circle in Gilroy, for possession of methamphetamine.

David Angel Ortiz, 31, April 23 on the 60 block of East San Martin Avenue in San Martin, for possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect was in possession of a glass pipe and loaded syringe containing methamphetamine.

Tracy S. Nickerson, 52, April 28 at the intersection of Burnett Road and Monterey Road in Morgan Hill, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alejandro Becerra Jr., 27, April 14 at the intersection of Monterey Road and Travel Park Circle in Gilroy, for being under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect admitted to smoking methamphetamine earlier in the day.

Sandra Mungary Ganzler, 47, April 15 at the intersection of Monterey Road and Travel Park Circle in Gilroy, for possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect admitted to smoking methamphetamine earlier in the day and officers discovered a methamphetamine pipe in her pants.

Bruce Charles Sorrell, 62, April 15 at the intersection of Monterey Road and Highway 101 in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Public intoxication

Ernest Moreno, 24, April 23 on the 1200 block of Half Road in Morgan Hill, for public intoxication after he banged on the door of a residence and began yelling at the resident for not letting him in.

Juan Valentin Martinez, 23, April 26 at the intersection of Monterey Highway and San Pedro Avenue in Morgan Hill, for being drunk in public.

Daniel Garza Dorantes, 60, April 14 at the intersection of Llagas Avenue and Spring Avenue in San Martin, for being drunk in public.

Auto burglary

An unknown suspect(s), April 17 on the 5000 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard at Mesa in Gilroy, broke a passenger’s side window and stole a laptop.

An unknown suspect(s), between April 19 and 20 on the 17000 block of Chesbro Lake Drive in Morgan Hill, broke into a residence through a side door in the garage, ransacked the house, stealing a laptop computer, the bottom drawer of a jewelry box, car keys and a vehicle.

An unknown suspect(s), April 29 on the 5055 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard in Gilroy, broke the window of a vehicle and stole a purse, camera and other items valued at $995.

Residential burglary

An unknown suspect(s), April 21 on the 12000 block of Colombet Avenue in San Martin, entered a trailer home through an open window and stole a laptop and $5,000 in cash.

An unknown suspect(s), April 24 on the 7900 block of Whitehurst Road in Gilroy, pried open a locked door and entered the residence, stealing a sofa and refrigerator, estimated at $2,300.

An unknown suspect(s), between April 26 and 29 on the 1600 block of Church Avenue in San Martin, entered an unlocked garage and stole an antique wood burning stove valued at $1,000.

An unknown suspect(s), between April 28 and 29 on the 4100 block of Canada Road in Gilroy, broke into a shed and stole clothing, stereo equipment and tools valued at $5,170.

An unknown suspect(s), April 12 on the 60 block of Burbank Avenue in San Martin, kicked in the rear door of a residence and stole a ring worth approximately $500.

An unknown suspect(s), between April 30 and May 1 on the 4200 block of Sheldon Avenue in Gilroy, pried open a shed and stole a go-kart and various other items.
