Members of Cal Fire and the Morgan Hill fire departments are out in force to help raise money for the Fill the Boot campaign to benefit muscular dystrophy research to combat the disease in children.

For the first time, firefighters were out at two locations in Morgan Hill along Monterey Road: At the Main Avenue intersection in downtown and near the Tennant Avenue intersection in southern Morgan Hill.

Firefighters will be out on the streets until 7 p.m. Friday evening and will return Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Drivers at the Monterey and Main intersection gave money from their cars, while some pedestrians gave while walking by.
