A small outbuilding and a boat were destroyed in a structure fire north of Morgan Hill.
Fire engines and crews from four different agencies responded to the blaze around 12 p.m. Saturday. The fire was contained within an hour, and a Calfire bulldozer arriving at the scene was called back when it was clear the fire was almost out.
South Santa Clara County, Santa Clara County, and San Jose fire departments assisted in combating the fire, which occurred in the area of Dougherty and Miramonte avenues.
About 1:30 p.m. most crews who responded to the fire were cleared, with the exception of "one or two," according to an employee at the Calfire dispatch center in Morgan Hill.
The dispatch employee did not know if the boat was inside the outbuilding, but both items were destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
