The Ann Sobrato High School Mock Trial Team won matches against Cupertino High, Lincoln High and Leigh High during its recent Mock Trial competition. The team will advance to the quarter finals. The Ann Sobrato High School Mock Trial Team won matches against Cupertino High, Lincoln High and Leigh High during its recent Mock Trial competition. The team will advance to the quarter finals.
Deadline for Cal Grant approaching
March 2 is the deadline to apply for a Cal Grant.
With a Cal Grant, students can be awarded up to $9,700 a year to pay for college or career/technical school. Students and their families can get help applying for a Cal Grant and other financial aid at free local Cash for College workshops offered throughout the state in advance of the application deadline.
Cal Grants are guaranteed for all qualified graduating high school seniors who meet eligibility requirements and apply by the March 2 deadline.
Kindergarten registration packets available Monday
Kindergarten registration packets for the 2009-10 school year may be picked up at any elementary school beginning Feb. 9. Kindergarten Enrollment begins on March 11. All completed applications will be returned to the school of residence for processing.
