Police Blotter: Auto burglary

Auto burglary



--Xpress Rent-a-car, Church Street, 8:14 a.m. Speakers were stolen from the trunk of a BMW parked at the business. Three of the tires were also stolen.

Robbery



--Tolusa Court, 7:14 p.m. A resident reported a man tried to rip her purse off of her arm while she was taking the mail out of her mailbox. She told police the man kicked her and tried to take her down. A neighbor told police they saw the suspect park a vehicle, get out and approach the woman. The man was later arrested after he ran from police.



Sept. 30



Auto burglary



-- Holiday Inn Express, Condit Road, 6:29 a.m. A Dodge Ram parked in the lot overnight was broken into. A window was shattered, and tools were stolen.



--Auburn Way, 7:16 a.m. A rented Mazda was broken into overnight. The vehicle was locked, but it is not clear how entry was made. Several items were stolen, including a computer, watch and wedding ring.



--Field across from Holiday Inn, Condit Road, 8:12 a.m. A Direct TV van was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and a laptop, cell phone and tools were stolen.

-- Cory Drive, 10:19 a.m. A Nissan Sentra was stolen from Santa Teresa Boulevard near Bernal Road.
