The Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters will conduct a voter registration drive featuring live local radio broadcasts and special extended hours today until 9 p.m. in preparation for the Nov. 4 Presidential General Election.
The drive, held at 1555 Berger Drive, Building 2, in San Jose, is being conducted to register or re-register voters, recruit election officers, sign up permanent vote by mail voters, and provide other important election information. Voters may also update their language preference.
Voters who register by today are eligible to receive a Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet. The Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet contains voting instructions and information about local candidates and measures on the ballot. Santa Clara County provides Sample Ballots in English, Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese.
Voters who register after today and by Monday Oct. 20, the deadline to register and still be eligible to vote in November's election, will only receive a letter with their assigned polling place location.
