Police Blotter: Would-be burglar scared away

Attempted burglary

- Auburn Way, 12:11 a.m. A resident reported his daughter was on the computer when a suspect tried to break into the house. The suspect tried to get through a window, had his hands inside the window, but was scared off.

Violation of court order

- Paradise Valley School, La Crosse Drive, 9:31 a.m. A woman reported she has a peaceful contact order against a man, and when she dropped off her son at school in the morning, the man yelled at her in front of other people.

- Miguel Morales, 28, July 22, 3:15 p.m. on Vineyard Boulevard, for violating the city's municipal code about having an open container of alcohol in public.

- Kathleen M. Peterson, 63, July 29. 8:40 p.m. on Cochrane Road, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

- Hector H. G. Rayo, 25, Aug. 2, 11:01 p.m. on Bayo Claros Circle, on suspicion of being drunk in public.

- William J. Vickers, 21, Aug. 3, 5:52 .m. on East Dunne Avenue, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

- Maria E. Hernandez, 42, Aug. 5, 10:13 a.m. on Vineyard Boulevard, on an outstanding warrant.
