Morgan Hill police say they're looking for two men who robbed the Fine Line Ink Tattoo shop north of downtown at about 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

The robbers are said to have arrived at the shop, 17865 Monterey Road, in a gold-color Hyundai. One robber, described as a heavy-set Hispanic man with the word "Hollister" tattooed on his arm, is said to have asked for the business owner, who was not there at the time. He then pulled out an semiautomatic pistol and asked for money, according to Morgan Hill police Cmdr. Joe Sampson said. He was wearing a white tank top and black shorts.

He then went behind the counter, looked through the register and took between $300 and $500 in cash, he added.

In the meantime his accomplice stood guard by the door of the business. He's described as a young heavy set man also of Hispanic descent.

Sampson said when they were done robbing the shop they got back into the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction.

"Officers are still out there investigating," Sampson said.

Four officers, two detectives and the department's crime scene investigators responded to the incident, Sampson said.
