Morgan Hill's Bicycle and Trails Advisory Committee invites pedaling participants to its Energizer Station at 6 a.m. Thursday morning at Depot and East Third streets.
The committee will be on hand at the Caltrain station to hand out water bottles, gift bags and other goodies to bicycling commuters in celebration of the Bay Area's 14th Bike to Work Day. This week is Bike to Work Week, and May is National Bike Month.
Several people in Morgan Hill joined together for the Team Bike Challenge in celebration of Bike to Work Month, including the PW (Public Works) Hill Crushers and the CCC (Community and Cultural Center) Cruisers. The teams earn points based on how often they cycle instead of driving, either to work or on errands, during the month of May.
