Gallery Morgan Hill will present a Fall Open Juried Show exhibiting at The Granary between Oct. 11th through Nov. 12. All artists are invited to participate.

The show is one of two per year that is sponsored by the gallery and open to the public. In keeping with the centennial year, Morgan Hill themes are welcomed but not required. The show is open to 2-D as well as 3-D art in all media. The winner for the Spring 2006 show was Paul Loughridge, an assemblage artist whose 3-D robot was a big show stopper and who is one of the newest members of Gallery Morgan Hill. Award winning Morgan Hill artist Diane Wallace has been designated as the juror and a sample of her artwork will be on display during the show. Ribbons and cash awards for first, second, third and honorable mention will be given. Applications and prospectus can be downloaded from gallery’s Web site at www.gallerymorganhill.org.

A reception to honor the winners will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15 at The Granary between 2–4pm. The event is free to the public with refreshments being served. Most of the artwork exhibited will be available for purchase.  Gallery Morgan Hill is located near the junction of First and Depot streets, at 17490 Depot St., in downtown Morgan Hill.
